How long is a course of treatment and how often must I visit?
Generally speaking, the longer you’ve had a condition, the more treatment you will require to reverse it. So it’s wise to be aware of when your body is not functioning optimally and address it immediately. The intensity of your symptoms will determine whether you get treatment twice a week, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. As your condition improves, we can allow more time between treatments.
According to traditional Chinese medicine, the three pillars of health are breathing, movement and nutrition. You can use these not only to counter the ailment you may be experiencing, but also to cultivate health and longevity. You will receive advice on how to adjust your lifestyle to your best advantage.
Will I get a health fund rebate?
All our practitioners are registered with all major health funds for their modality, so if you’re covered for acupuncture or remedial massage, you’ll be able to claim a refund. Also, on-the-spot claims are available through our HICAPS facility (for participating funds). No health fund rebates are available for herbal medicine consultations.
